A central Queensland family consisting of Percy & Sandra and Son’s Derran,
Randall, Que & their Families have banned closer together to raise awareness
and much needed funds to help find a cure for cancer.
It has been prompted by the loss of their son & brother Lachlan James
who passed away on the 1st October 2008
aged 36years to this dreadful disease.
Lachlan left behind wife Sonia
and their 5 children,
Elle-Jay, Sophia, Paisley, Destiny
and 2 year old son Landon.
Lachie was a Master Horseman, a great Cattleman but most of all he was a loving
person, loved his family, his country & his life. Lachlan was a true giver who gave & shared with others everything he had. While he was ill he stated that if he beat
this disease he would do whatever he could to help and try & make a difference
for others suffering the same pain.
Sadly he never made it, so his family have built this special Water Truck, painted it
pink & called it “4ULOC” Cancer Unit.

Lymphoma Australia is a charitable not for profit organisation that provides information for Lymphoma patients and their carers about support, treatments, education workshops and resources .
The National Breast Cancer Foundation (NBCF) is the leading community-funded organisation in Australia raising money for research into the prevention, detection and treatment of breast cancer.
Cancer Council Queensland raises funds to help eliminate cancer and diminish suffering from cancer through research, treatment, patient care, prevention and early detection.
Intensive Care Units
The Hornery Group endeavours to assist in raising funds for much needed ICU equipment.
When the 4ULOC unit is hired by a company in the mining, gas or construction industries. The Hornery Group will donate $20.00 for every hour to the Lachlan Hornery Trust Fund on behalf of that company. The Lachlan Hornery Trust Fund will then donate to a Cancer organisation.
ATTENTION TO FUNDRAISING COMMITTEES
The Hornery Water and Transport Company as major sponsors will arrive at your event FREE OF CHARGE for your committees. The use of the 4ULOC Unit can be used for either watering of facilities or just Cancer Awareness and Photo’s. The event committee must engage a sponsor to sponsor the 4ULOC Unit at the cost of $1000 per day. The sponsorship money is paid to your events committee cause pool.
AND
Any other donations however big or small that are received, will also be recorded. Donations over $100.00 will be given special recognition and thanks here on this website, and company donations will also receive a link from the 4ULOC website to their own website.
