Royal Brisbane Women’s Hospital Foundation is the charity arm of Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital – Queensland’s largest and busiest hospital. The Foundation’s primary purpose is to raise money to purchase vital pieces of equipment to fund world-class clinical research conducted at the hospital. Money raised assists in providing better treatment methods and improve patient’s outcomes. RBWH is the largest tertiary teaching hospital in Australia, providing care and treatments to patients from across the state and neighbouring areas and rely solely on the generosity of individuals, companies and the community.
“Since 2009, the Foundation is honoured to be in partnership with the Hornery Group through it’s established trust – The Lachlan Hornery Trust Fund – which has raised considerable funds to enable the purchase of vital equipment and comfort items to help cancer patients being treated at the RBWH Cancer Care Services unit. This long standing relationship has been a very beneficial and mutual partnership that has made a big difference for people living with cancer and we fully support and endorse the Hornery Trading Group in its fundraising endeavours on behalf of the Foundation.”
