Australian Wagyu Association property tour
In May 2015 the Australian Wagyu Association introduced property tours following the Annual Wagyu Conference and Beef Week.
The tour arrived at “River Lea” on the morning of May 11th where 130 guests from over 15 countries were welcomed by Bar H Management and Staff. The day began with a visual Campdraft display at the Bar H practice Campdraft arena by 20 times Australian champion Peter Comisky. Visitors were treated to morning tea whilst they enjoyed a whip cracking display. Shortly after guests were transferred onto Semi Trailers with hay bales for seating and embarked on a safari type tour of the property with information along the way about the Wagyu herd, mustering demonstrations on horseback with the working dogs. The tour travelled to the undercover yards and down to the Mackenzie River to view a Helicopter Mustering Display. After the property tour, there was time for viewing some feature Bulls in the display pens. The day finished with a boutique lunch and entertainment, followed by damper for desert.
Overseas, Interstate and Local visitors totally enjoyed the day and Bar H Staff and the Hornery Family were thrilled to host a wonderful day which showcased the Bar H Way.
