Reception & Administration Assistant

We are seeking a Reception & Administration Assistant to join our team in Moranbah. Working Monday to Friday you will be responsible for being the first point of contact for all enquiries while helping the Finance Department and General Managers with general administrative duties and data entry.

The ideal Candidate will have:

  • Experience in Administration
  • Excellent communication and time management skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and to multi-task
  • Experience in Microsoft Office
  • Knowledge in MYOB preferred but not essential

HC Truck Driver

A position is vacant for an experienced Semi Tanker Driver based at Moranbah.

We are looking for a person with proven skills to make deliveries to clients on time, every time with a great attitude. The successful applicant must be punctual, reliable, respectful, well organised and with a strong focus on attention to detail. Applicants must have an impeccable safety record and the ability to build strong relationships with clients.


  • Hold current and clean QLD Driver’s License minimum HC.
  • Be able to follow instructions from Driver Co-ordinator and Management Team.
  • Complete dockets, pre-starts, timesheets and other paperwork neatly and correctly.
  • Be client focused and provide outstanding services to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Conduct yourself in a respectful & courteous manner at all times.
  • Keep trucks clean to the highest standards including washing down each day.
  • Fit and able to conduct manual labour.
  • Must be competent at backing trucks and in the use of Road Ranger boxes.

Accounts Assistant 

The Hornery Group of companies currently have a position vacant for an Accounts Assistant to join our Moranbah team. Reporting to Management you will be required to assist with all aspects of the accounting function by data capturing and reporting information for Hornery Water & Transport, Hornery Aviation Services and Bar H Grazing. The right candidate will be rewarded with flexible employment arrangements working between 9:00am to 5:00pm Monday to Friday.

About YOU:

  • 4 years in an administrative accounts, book keeping and/or business administration role
  • Knowledge of MYOB & Xero accounting systems
  • Experience in Microsoft Office 365
  • A “can do “positive attitude with attention to detail
  • Produce a high standard of work and professional in decision making
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication skills, takes ownership and accountability
  • Punctual, honest and reliable
  • A proactive approach to tasks as well as being a team player
